In case you weren’t able to make it to MAE or you didn’t have a chance to come see us, we wanted to provide you with the essence of the Mobile Asia Expo Catchoom Experience!
There were over 20,000 attendees in the house, proving MAE to truly live up to the tagline “Asia’s Greatest Mobile Event”. With not one, but two exhibition halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre there was plenty to catch the eye for every attendee.
And we did! We had a constant stream of visitors at the Catchoom stand and demonstrated Image Recognition to more than 300 visitors including developers, tech companies and more.
Visitors go on a treasure hunt with the Expo Quest App
MAE attendees could do more than demo Image Recognition though. We sent players on a hunt with their smartphones and the Expo Quest app to win a Samsung Galaxy Tab™. We partnered with the GSMA so that any attendee could experience it, and over 500 visitors tried our app.
We look forward to future partnerships with GSMA at more events. We’re thrilled by the level of participation we’ve seen, but can’t wait to take it to the next level. Our CMO, Richard Ferraro sums this up nicely:
