Catchoom helps Prynt turn Augmented Reality for print photos into a wild success
TURNING YOUR PHOTOS INTO MOVING MEMORIES
Prynt is the combination of an innovative smartphone case with a built-in mini printer, and a mobile app that brings your photos alive through short videos that live only inside the printed photo.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Whenever you take a photo, the app also records a 6-second video. This is automagically linked to the photo and uploaded to the cloud.
After printing your photo, you only need to open the Prynt app and scan the photo using your phone’s camera. The app will recognize the image in less than half a second and play your video through the screen, using Augmented Reality.
COMBINING CATCHOOM’S SDK-S
Our Image Recognition technology, integrated within the app, enables Prynt to recognize images instantly, without any QR code or ugly marker printed on it. The images and the related experience can be saved on the cloud or on-device to be experienced offline.
Furthermore, Catchoom’s Augmented Reality SDK is used to superimpose interactive digital content – in this case, the video – on top of the recognized image, offering immediate gratification and a 100% personalized experience.
